Website Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of the Sean Simons Statements website located at the domain name www.seansimonsstatements.com (“the website”). By accessing and using the website, you agree to be bound by the terms set out in this legal notice. If you don’t agree to the terms, you may not access, display, use, download, or otherwise copy or distribute content obtained on the website.

 

This website is copyrighted. No part, or in whole, may be reproduced, downloaded or distributed.

 

Payment

Payment may be made by Visa or Mastercard credit cards, or by bank transfer into our bank account, the details of which will be provided at check-out. The payment system allows for review, corrections and withdrawal by you prior to placing a final order.

 

Returns Policy

Sean Simons Statements complies fully with the Consumer Protection Act of South Africa and as such will be happy to accept returns on any unused items within 10 days of receipt – in its original packaging box and with the stuffing inside. We do not accept returns on used merchandise.

 

Please contact us for any items that need to be returned. Returns that are not authorised may experience delays in processing. Returns that are received with proper authorisation will be refunded on receipt. The refund will be processed to the client’s current or savings account, and may take up to 5 business days to appear on your statement depending on your financial institution. When the refund is processed, you will receive an email notification from Us for your records.

 

Please note that original shipping charges are not refundable and that return shipping charges are the customer’s responsibility except in the case of carrier damage or an error by Sean Simons Statements.

 

Damaged in transit

We take the utmost care in ensuring that the goods are packaged securely to arrive in perfect condition. However, subject to s56 of the Consumer Protection Act No. 68 of 2008, should you receive a product from us which has been damaged, please contact us within five days of receipt and we will gladly collect the product at our own expense and provide a refund, replacement or store credit.

 

Any claims for carrier-damaged items must be submitted to us within five business days after receipt. To ensure a prompt resolution, please return the box, packing materials and the damaged items to Sean Simons Statements. Any refund or re-shipment will be processed following inspection of the product.

 

Incorrectly ordered items
We will accommodate you as best as possible if you have incorrectly ordered an item. Please call us. The product should be returned and received by us unopened, unused and the packaging not damaged in anyway. All shipping charges for the product/s returned to us and replacement products sent out are the responsibility of the customer.

Cancellation of orders

Orders placed may be cancelled at any time prior to payment. If payment has been received, the order may only be cancelled subject to the following fees:

  • Prior to payment – 0%
  • Prior to shipping but after having made payment – 8%
  • After packing, shipping and return to Sean Simons Statements (package unopened) – 30% plus shipping costs.
  • After the package is delivered by the shippers – no cancellation.

 

Exchanging delivered products

We will gladly replace an item that you purchased from us even after the item has been delivered to you, as long as the parcel has not been opened. The shipping will be for your account plus a small admin and handing fee to cover this cost. Please contact us prior to returning goods for exchange so we are aware that the item is returned for exchange.

Stock Items

Should an item be out of stock for more than 7 days from the date of placement of an order, Sean Simons Statements will inform the client and the client will have the following options:

1) To wait until the item becomes available and in stock again. We will ship outstanding item free of charge to the client.

2) To cancel the item and have the cost of the item either credited to the client’s account or have the cost of the item refunded into the client’s banking account.

3) Credit/Debit Card refunds and reversals are not allowed due to the high cost of the banking charges. We make all refunds into a client current or savings account.

Account Credits and Refunds

We will gladly refund you when the error is due to the fault of Sean Simons Statements. However, in the case of stock unavailability, we will credit your account with the full amount for you to select and purchase a similar or different item.

Orders are delivered via The Courier Guy services door to door where possible and is destination-dependent.  There are no despatches, deliveries or collections over weekends or public holidays.

 

Once your order has been dispatched you’ll receive an e-mail from us advising you of the tracking (waybill) number, this number must be entered in the tracking field on The Courier Guy portal’s home page. Shipping terms and conditions are according to the terms and conditions as set out by The Courier Guy. Your tracking number will be sent to you once your parcel has been collected.

PLEASE ENSURE THAT YOU’VE MADE ARRANGEMENTS FOR SOMEONE TO RECEIVE THE PARCEL AT THE DELIVERY ADDRESS.

 

Should your parcel be not be delivered due to an incorrect address or nobody is available to receive it and is returned to Sean Simons Statements, the re-shipment of such a parcel will be for your account.
